The famous novel Fifty Shades of Grey started as fan fiction for the Twilight series. It was initially entitled Master of the Universe, written by Erika Mitchell. The characters of the story were initially Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Mitchell, however, was more interested in creating her account and eventually published her work online with her characters.

Fifty Shades of Grey is about the relationship of Anastasia Steele, a literature student, and Christian Grey, a wealthy and young entrepreneur. They first meet when Katherine Kavanagh, Ana’s best friend, asks Ana to go on an interview with Christian in her place. Upon meeting him, Ana is smitten and drawn to him in an instant. Unaware of Christian’s true nature, she enters into a modern romance with him.

The novel is categorized as erotic romance and has gained a variety of criticism and acclaim. Its popularity and success are remarkable as it surpassed the Harry Potter series as the fastest selling paperback of all time. To top it off, the FIFTY SHADES OF GREY AUDIOBOOK is also popularly acquired. The novel is set to be adapted into a film which will be released in August 2014. The following books in the trilogy are entitled Fifty Shades Darker and 50 shades freed audiobook.
